Worth getting for more ‘realism’ – although how you get realism in a fantasy game I don’t know… Rise of the Tomb Kings I think it adds quite a lot to TW:WH2 in a way that it doesn’t for me in the historical games. ![]() Blood for the Blood God IIĪs ever with Total War, there is a small priced paid DLC for bloody effects. The variety and possibilities have made it pretty much the only game mode I’ll play now. I’ve had a few crazy games where I’ve essentially abandoned the old Dwarven Empire and set sail to conquer the new world instead, or vice versa with the Lizardmen going to the Old World. The DLC gives you (almost) the entire Warhammer World to play in across, with all the factions available from the first two games as well. You can only get if you have bought the first Total War: Warhammer, and it is worth buying that just to experience Mortal Empires. ![]() Mortal Empires is an absolute must for any player. ![]() ![]() Below is a short guide to the available official DLC: Mortal Empires I still regularly play it with one of the myraid of factions, with or without some of the excellent mods out there.
